Our trip to Brazil was very unexpected and unplanned. We had only 3 days before the flight to open visa, prepare the package and buy the air tickets. It was really mission impossible and we did not believe that somebody can do it. However, we were very lucky to find See you in Brazil web site. I called the company at midnight without any hope to get a reply. However, Luiz Silva not only replied so late at night but also provided me with the information that I needed about the package and prices. Within next couple of days thanks to Luiz we received visa and flew to Brazil. We stayed connected with Luiz during all 7 days of the trip, he was always very helpful and attentive. His advice and opinion was always very useful. The hotel in Rio was great, just near the beach. Tours were very interesting. Our experience in this country was really unforgettable and we are really thankful to Luiz and Seeyouinbrazil company. If I am lucky enough to visit Brasil again, I hope Luiz de Silva will be available as my personal tour-guide. My trip as part of a group in the spring of 2004 was memorable enough. I recently escaped the `bitter´ cold of the southern US by tagging along with Luiz Silva (Seeyouinbrazil), to Brazil. The original and only destination was Buzios, his home, but that quickly changed as I absorbed the entire eastern seaboard via bus and car. I visited Buzios, Curitiba, Florianopolis, Sao Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro. I would strongly recommend a visit to any one of these magnificent cities. My only regret was that I was able to stay just a month. Buzios, the fishing village, had `hometown´ feeling beaches, food from any culture could be found on the streets downtown, and a real `laid back´ community vibe. The snorkeling and kayaking was unforgettable. Rio de Janeiro was what anyone would expect, a busy metropolis that never rests whether on the beach or in the city. Sao Paulo was the largest city that I had ever seen with neighborhoods stretching further than the eye could see. As with any big city there was plenty to do in the evenings from dining to theater. Curitiba was a fascinating city that is rich in history and entertainment. I experienced everything from overindulging at an ice cream buffet to witnessing an amazing kapuwada (capoeira) class. Florianopolis was a large scale Buzios. It is an island surrounded by gorgeous beaches fully equipped with Brazilians, sun, and sand dunes ripe for sand boarding and a stunning city with a bustling shopper friendly downtown. The adventure of exploring this country was hopefully not once in a life time and will be repeated.

In 2005, I traveled to Latin America for the first time in my life filled with excitement about new culture. Living in Rio de Janeiro and Buzios for one week was my first time being exposed to the developing world. The city itself is beautiful in architecture and in landscape, but what I loved truly were the Brazilian people. I had the chance to shop in street markets, dine among Brazilians, and learn (and attempt to sing) a few songs in Portuguese. I hope one day to return to this marvelous country.

I had an amazing experience in Brazil with Luiz in 2005 over my Spring break! As a student at USC, I was very interested in Brazilian culture and the Brazilian lifestyle. I ate Brazilian BBQ, got more than my fair share of Guaraná, and enjoyed feijoada on more than one occasion. I learned a little Portuguese, Oi! I was able to capture all of Rio de Janeiro on my trip and still had time to make it to Buzios. As a tour guide and interpreter, Luiz's work was impeccable. And further, I got to visit all the amazing places I had always wanted to see - Pão de Açucar, Maracanã, Corcovado, the Ipanema hippie fair, and even an ecological reserve near Rio. My experience in Brazil with Luiz is the reason that I will be studying abroad and living in Rio de Janeiro for five months this fall. I'll be learning even more Portuguese, eating even more wonderful Brazilian food, and living in gorgeous Parque do Flamengo. I feel so much more comfortable making these plans because seeyouinbrazil is helping me with all of them! I had the experience of a lifetime in Rio de Janeiro, and I can't wait to do it all again this fall, with seeyouinbrazil's outstanding service! Tchau!
